Support for HaliteHomes
Contact
Email: Haliteinvestments@gmail.com
During open testing, please send bugs, confusing screens, missing features, or workflow feedback to Haliteinvestments@gmail.com. Please include your device model and Android version, and describe what you were doing when the issue occurred. Do not include private home, property, or tenant data in feedback emails unless you intentionally choose to.
Quick help
- Your data is local to your device. HaliteHomes does not keep a copy on a server, so we can’t restore data for you remotely.
- Keep your encrypted backup passphrase safe. Store it somewhere you won’t lose it.
- Forgotten backup passphrases cannot be recovered. Without the passphrase, an encrypted backup cannot be opened.
- Use exports carefully. PDFs and backups you export are yours to manage once they leave the app.
- Do not email smart-home/device passwords or sensitive property documents unless support specifically requests a safe way to share them.
Moving to a new device
Export an encrypted backup from Settings on your old device, transfer the file yourself, and import it on the new device using the same passphrase.
Deleting your data
HaliteHomes stores app data locally on your device. You can delete local HaliteHomes data from inside the app by opening Settings, expanding App data & encrypted backup, and selecting Delete all local data. You can also remove locally stored app data by uninstalling HaliteHomes or clearing the app’s storage through Android settings. Because HaliteHomes does not create user accounts or store home/property data on Halite Investments servers, there is no server-side account deletion process for home/property data. See the privacy policy for details.
